We all had days where everything goes wrong and nothing seems to be going right. “Why me?” Have you ever said that? Life can get stressful, but the longer you let it linger, the harder it is to bounce back.

When I have a bad day, I make sure to remind myself that tomorrow is going to be a better day and I will do everything in my powers to make sure of that. Attitude does go a long way, ladies and gentlemen.

Feeling sorry for yourself is not a good place to be in, especially in fitness. “Why is this happening to me?” One of my favorite current NBA player is Derrick Rose. Rose went from being the youngest player ever to win the MVP at the age of 22. Then, injuries plagued his career. The list goes on with torn ACL, torn meniscus, severe sprained ankles, sprained wrists, etc. Flash forward to 2019 and Rose is still in the NBA not as a starter, but a critical role player off the bench.

Sports media claimed that Rose would never be the same player and went on to say that his career was done. I’m sure he even doubted his comeback, but he trusted his work ethic and in himself. He even scored 50 points in a game this past season. Its truly remarkable and a testament to how much work he put in to be able to play.

Life can kick us in the face multiple times and get us down, but the question will always be whether you stay down or get back up. So instead of saying why me, next time say try and stop me like the turtle in the picture. Hope you liked this week’s blog. Stay tuned for more next Wed…………..Kei
